16 year old Shouryya Ray, an Indian-born German student has solved a 350 year old puzzle, left by Newton. 
Shouryya Ray worked out how to calculate exactly the path of a projectile under gravity and subject to air resistance, The (London) Sunday Times reported.
The Indian-born teen said he solved the problem that had stumped mathematicians for centuries while working on a school project.
Mr Ray won a research award for his efforts and has been labeled a genius by the German media, but he put it down to "curiosity and schoolboy naivety".
"When it was explained to us that the problems had no solutions, I thought to myself, 'well, there's no harm in trying,'" he said.

Arjun Bajpayee, a 16-year-old Delhi school boy, on Saturday had a brief tryst with destiny equaling the world record of being the youngest to step atop the world's highest peak - 8,848 metre Mt Everest, only to have his feat overturned hours later by a 13-year-old American.

Bajpayee, became the youngest Indian to climb Everest early this morning via the traditional South Col route in Nepal. He equalled the record of a Nepalese Sherpa Temba Tsheri who also climbed the peak when he was sixteen.

Vishalini, the World’s Youngest MCP and CCNA

Born in Thirunelveli, a small city of Tamil Nadu, to an electrician father, Vishalini is no different than other children of her age who love watching cartons, riding bicycle and playing games; however, her IQ and intelligence is not of an average 11-year-old girl. She is a child prodigy blessed with exceptional computer and analytical skills. According to reports, her IQ stands at 225, which is considerably higher than the previous Guinness of world record holder, Kim Ung-Yong, whose IQ is approximately 210. Her wonderful accomplishments include the Microsoft Certified Professional and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). By scoring 90 % in CCNA, Vishalini has broken the record of a Pakistani girl Arfa Karim Randhawa (At the age 9,she was the youngest MCP). Unfortunately, Arfa succumbed to a cardiac arrest on 14th of January last month; she was only 16.
