                                                    Krishna Temple in Dwaraka :-

An important pilgrimage center for Hindus is Dwaraka, on the west coast of Gujarat. Every inch of the city is linked up with Lord Krishna and is the place where ruled his kingdom. 12 Jyotirlingas representing Lord Shiva which manifested in different parts of the country as one of these is located in Dwarka and is known as the Nageshwar Mahadev. The sanctum of the Dwarkadish temple and dates back to 2500 years is the Jagat Mandir or Nij Mandir has its own hall of audience and the roof of the hall is supported by 60 columns as the main temple rises five storeys high ansd there is also a conical spire. The spire is richly carved and rises to a height of 157 feet. Rukmini"s( Krishna's wife) temple is one of the most popular temples in Dwarka is that of considered an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and beauty.
At the end of Pandava Arjuna 12 year pilgrimage of holy places of ancient India (Bharata Varsha) made a visit to Dwaraka.
